Posted: April 16, 2018

The Minnehaha Academy baseball teams are ready to compete in games this spring season while playing to keep a record of competing in state for four years and winning back-to-back state championship.

The Redhawk teams will continue to be one of the most competitive baseball programs  in their class as they compete along with other tough Class AA competitors such as Belle Plaine, Mounds Park Academy and New Life Academy.

With 10 graduated players, the varsity team will return leading players Bennett Theisen, Noah Dehne and Brock Brumley, all juniors.

“We will come together as a team around our common goal, and that is to win another state championship,” Theisen said. “This year we need to realize that we’re playing for something bigger than us, and that is why it is important to bring home a trophy for this school and the people in this community.”
