Last night, the Minnehaha boys’ basketball team beat St. Paul Central in overtime, 91-86. Sophomore JaVonni Bickham and eighth grader Jalen Suggs led the scoring for Minnehaha with 21 points apiece.
With the victory, the Redhawks improved to 9-3. The team is averaging 71.2 points per game and currently sits tied with St. Paul Academy and Breck atop the IMAC Conference.
Yesterday’s game was only Minnehaha’s second home game of the year.
Tonight at 7 p.m., Minnehaha will host Blake, who is 2-9 and averaging under 50 points per game.
