This year, the Spanish amity, Leticia Arguello, is from Madrid, Spain. Arguello came on September 15 and is staying with junior Gabbi Stienstra. She will be returning to Spain on June 16, 2011. She came to Minnesota to learn English as well as teach others about the Spanish language and culture. Arguello is looking forward to new experiences such as homecoming coronation.

“There is nothing like it [homecoming] is Spain,” said Arguello. “These are all new experiences for me.”
