NFL moves ahead with virtual draft, plans to play regular schedule

The NFL has been keeping a close eye on the spread of the virus and is still determining whether off-season training will be affected and whether the draft as well might be affected. There have been lots of free agents on the market and teams wondering how they are gonna train the new guys.

The NFL draft was on April 23-25 in Las Vegas and the U.S. government is strictly prohibiting gatherings larger than 10 people. But The NFL believed it could carry out a draft online with being strictly cautious as well.

The NFL is only testing players that are showing symptoms or are at risk. Leaving those tests for the doctors and others who need it. With everything being closed, the NFL training facilities are closed as well except for people with medical conditions. Mini Camps don’t start until May and even farther down the road, Training Camps start in Mid July.
