The musical of the Ugly Duckling

Honk! Based on the 19th-century fairy tale The Ugly Duckling, by Hans Christian Anderson, tells the story of an odd-looking baby duck and his quest to find his mother. Minnehaha’s theater department will perform Honk! Apr. 19-21: at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased through Mary Gosselin or at the door; $6  for students, kids and seniors and $12 for adults.

About 45 Minnehaha students are involved in this production, including the orchestra, tech crew and actors.

“This production gives lots of students the opportunity to shine,” said theater teacher Nicholas Freeman.
