Slovakian exchange students

Minnehaha Academy has two new students on an exchange program this semester coming from the C.S. Lewis Bilingual High School in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Juniors Klaudia Repacikova and Jano Horvath had never been to America before the exchange.

“I feel welcomed here,” said Repacikova. “I don’t feel fifteen-hours away by plane.”

Horvath says he came to MA for the change in environment.

“I like the new people and different environment,” Horvath says. “It’s a change for me. It’s a really nice experience, and unique. It will prepare me for college if  I would like to study in the U.S.”
