Minnehaha has a new dance team as of this winter season.

“Minnehaha’s dance team currently has club status,” said Diversity Director and co-adviser of the dance team Paulita Todhunter. “As more members join we will be seeking to become an official [MSHSL] team.”

The team is student led with Todhunter and Elizabeth Van Pilsum acting as advisers. They will most likely perform during the half-times of boys basketball games.

“We won’t be competing this year,” said sophomore Manda TenHoor, “but if we get everything together by next year we will try to do competition.”
