New faces – Tim Swanson

Posted: October 31, 2017

Minnehaha Academy recently hired a new physics teacher, Tim Swanson. Before coming to Minnehaha, Swanson taught at a elementary school science program called Star-Base. When Swanson wanted a change and was in the market for a new job, his wife, a graduate of Minnehaha, recommended looking for a teaching position at MA.

Freshman Arielle Pickerign admires Swanson’s enthusiasm. “Mr. Swanson is very energetic and you can tell he definitely has a passion for what he teaches,” said Pickerign. Swanson enjoys rock climbing, hiking, camping, and running in his free time. He has a daughter and recently just had a son.
