In summer, ‘club’ becomes camp

Young Life registrations for  summer camp should be submitted by April 30. Throughout the 2011-2012 school year, as many as 50 Minnehaha students have been participating in “club”, a group for students by Young Life; a youth ministries organization seeking to bring students closer to Christ and each other.

Club, is open to all Minnehaha students Mondays 7-8:30 p.m. That’s not all: each summer, Young Life camps across the country host students for what they like to call “the best week of your life.” Senior Xavier Scott said Young Life camp is “a place where you can get to know God in a fun environment without forcing it upon you.”

This summer Young Life is heading to Timberwolf Lake Camp in Lake City, Mich., July 12 -17.
