A new look for a new century

Posted: May 29, 2013

On 23 May 2013 a new logo was announced for Minnehaha Academy. This logo was created to be timeless and represent the school. The two arcs make an “M” and an “A” with one of them red and one gray. The red is for Minnehaha pride, and the gray represents the diversity. In the middle there are three white rays which are to incorporate the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. This logo will be easier to use on spirit wear and brochures so that there is more unity in the school. With the new logo, Minnehaha is also changing the Redhawk look and the name of the Arrow. The Redhawk mascot is being changed for the same reason as the logo so  that there is a simpler more unified theme. The Arrow, the school’s alumni magazine, will be renamed;  options are currently being considered.
