Arena sales down

Minnehaha’s annual Arena Sale grossed $100,500 this year. This is down about $6,000  from last year. Jane Anfang, MA Special Events and Alumni Manager, states that the numbers are down because of the economy.

“I think this is mainly due to a lower volume of items donated and lower quality of items donated, plus there were fewer shoppers over all” Anfang said.

In spite of this, Anfang feels that this is an event where everyone benefits in different ways.

“The best outcome of this year’s sale is the opportunity for parents to come, work together and meet new people,” said Anfang.
