Minnehaha junior Kelly Brush broke a Metro United team diving record for both the 6-dive event and 11-dive event.

Brush broke fellow MA junior Rachel Koebele’s 6-dive record on September 21, and then broke her own record at Mound Westonka on September 25. The record is now 192.85 points.

Brush also broke her own record in the 11-dive event at Fridley on September 11 by getting 303.25 points.

Metro United is a co-op swimming and diving team that includes students from Minnehaha, Mounds Park Academy, St. Anthony, St. Agnes, St. Croix Lutheran and DeLaSalle high schools.

“There are some things the team needs to work on, but Brush is really good,” freshman Morgan Wiersma said.
