Varying levels of stress and dread fill students, as the first day of finals week begins. Classes are attended, projects turned in and quizzes taken, all as students and teachers prepare for the three days of testing that will occur at the end of the week.
Though there is much to accomplish, there is no lack of holiday cheer during Minnehaha’s first finals week of the year. In first hour Monday, students received Christmas candy grams from their fellow classmates. On Tuesday, students can attend a special French Club and try some of the traditional French cake, “Bûche de Noël,” which is a yule log cake, and choir students will be performing in a special Christmas chapel.
However hard final exams are and no matter the worries of students, Monday of finals week is “the start of the end,” as students can look forward to the upcoming two weeks of Christmas break in just a few short days.
