On Oct. 10 Minnehaha Academy held the MISP College Fair where 168 colleges were represented, 16 from Minnesota. 690 students attended the event, and including parents the total number was about 1,500 people in attendance. There were schools from 32 states and two foreign countries. The fair season is over, but there will be other opportunities throughout the year later on including the Minnesota College Fair, which is hosted by NACAC.
” I hope students gain a better knowledge of the whole college search process as a result of attending the fair, but more importantly, I think college fairs are a great opportunity to add prospective colleges that weren’t initially on their radar,” said Minnehaha College and Guidance Counselor Richard Harris.
