Minneapolis remembers Alex Pretti:

On the 24th of January, Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old intensive-care nurse in Minneapolis, was protesting the presence of Operation Metro Surge, which brought an estimated 3,000 federal agents from the Department of Homeland Security to the Twin Cities. While Pretti was protesting their presence and recording with his phone on Nicollet Avenue near 26th Street in South Minneapolis, federal agents wrestled him to the ground, then proceeded to shoot and kill him, as bystanders recorded the events. A memorial quickly grew at the site, with many locals contributing candles, flowers, and signs.
