In the final regular season home game of the 2024-2025 season, the Minnesota Frost took on the New York Sirens at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul on April 27. New York ended up winning the game 2-0, but finished last in the Professional Women’s Hockey League and secured the first overall draft pick in the 2025 PWHL draft. In Minnesota’s final regular-season game, the Frost beat Ottawa 3-0 in Ottawa to gain the league’s final playoff spot.
