Spring update: girls’ track

This year the girls’ track and field team is expected to excel in distance. Senior Kayla Williams has been running year round with a group of girls who run distance races almost 6 days most weeks. ” We figured out a few years ago that we wanted be better than we were and this was the way to do it. Consistency and quality is what Sauer always tells us, so we strive to do that type of work to help us achieve our goals as individuals and as a team.” said Williams. Also, senior Terra Rhoades will be returning. Last year she beat the school record in the 400 during her first race.  There will also be a small addition to facilities. The ice arena at the Lower school is going to have turf installed where the team will have extra space to practice.
