Minnehaha: Day by Day, Centennial Year

The 100th year, frame by frame

The 2012-2013 academic year was special for Minnehaha Academy; it was the school’s Centennial. To capture the excitement, as well as the routines, sophomore Maddie Binning, with help from junior Rachel Bartz, began on Day 1 (Thurs., Aug. 23, 2012) to take one photograph each day and post it on Redhawksonline, all the way through Day 169 (Fri., May 31, 2013). Monthly video summaries were created and posted, culminating in this year-end review.

The daily photos are combined with voiceovers to show the Centennial year, and a year at Minnehaha in the 21st century, from a student’s perspective.
