Pryor sets a new MA baseball record

Minnehaha Academy senior pitcher John Pryor broke a school record for the varsity baseball team April 30 with 18 strikeouts in a seven-inning game. In the team’s fifth game of the season, the Redhawks traveled to Providence Academy and won 2-0, with Pryor recording a complete-game shutout. With only having 21 opportunities to get outs in seven innings, Pryor blew the team out of the water and gave up only three hits. On JV baseball team, sophomore Thomas Shogren set a Minnehaha JV strikeout record with 17 strikeouts. The JV team pulled out a win as well with a 5-1 win.
